Workshop
An encaustic on paper workshop is an art class where you learn to paint using heated beeswax mixed with colored pigments on paper, instead of traditional painting techniques like oil, acrylic, or watercolor.
A curated gallery, retail store, and creative gathering space.
Unbound is a contemporary gallery and curated retail destination celebrating the artists, makers, and creative community of San Francisco and the Bay Area.
A Home for Local Creativity
We bring together original artwork, handcrafted goods, ceramics, prints, books, jewelry, and thoughtfully designed objects by local artists and independent makers. Every piece is carefully selected for its craftsmanship, originality, and the story it tells.
Curated with Intention
Our gallery features rotating exhibitions that highlight both emerging and established artists, creating opportunities to discover new work, support local talent, and connect with the people behind it.
Discover Local Artists
Through workshops, artist talks, exhibitions, pop-ups, and community events, we invite visitors to engage with art in an approachable and meaningful way.
Learn, Create & Connect
Our light-filled space is also available for private rentals, offering a unique setting for celebrations, team building, creative workshops, brand activations, photoshoots, and close-knit gatherings.
Host Your Next Event
Whether you're discovering your next favorite artist, searching for a meaningful gift, learning a new creative skill, or hosting a memorable event, Unbound is a place where creativity is celebrated, shared, and woven into everyday life.
